Welcome to our website

Our laboratories are situated within the Institute of Physical Chemistry at the National Centre for Scientific Research “Demokritos” in Athens, Greece, and our research is focused on the chemistry, biology, and medicine of natural products and designed molecules. In addition to research, we are deeply committed to the education and training of a new generation of men and women in the chemical sciences.

It is our hope that other members of the scientific community, as well as prospective graduate students and postdoctoral collaborators, might be introduced to the types of research projects that are being pursued in our laboratory from the Research and Publications sections. The Group Members section should give an accurate perspective of group size, expertise and diversity. Throughout the year, group members participate in an informal seminar series where literature topics relevant to our research interests are presented. Downloadable PDF files of many of our group’s poster presentations can be found in the Publications and Presentations section of this site.
